Business Development Manager Nordics

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue generation and growth by identifying, qualifying, and converting new business clients for PaySaxas’ services. The position requires cross-functional work with Compliance, Product, and Partner teams to ensure seamless onboarding and build long-term strategic relationships.

  • Requirements

    • 1+ years of demonstrated Sales/Business Development experience (preferable in fintech, eCommerce, Banking, payments), showcasing a history of client engagement and acquisition in both online and offline (in-person) meetings.

    • Understanding of EMI, VASP/CASP, MSB business model and regulated service.

    • Hands-on with prospecting & sales-automation tools (e.g., Apollo, ZoomInfo, Lemlist, Expandi) and disciplined CRM usage.

    • Must have excellent written and verbal English skills, Finnish language proficiency is essential.

  • Responsibilities

    • Shape go-to-market targeting by building ICPs aligned with key verticals and demand signals in the Nordics and wider EU region.

    • Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, list building, emailing, and social media outreach.

    • Qualify outbound leads to determine their fit and potential as sales opportunities.

    • Target businesses that actively need PaySaxas’ core services, such as multi-currency IBANs, SEPA/SWIFT payments, card issuing/acquiring, FX (spot & OTC), and crypto on/off-ramping.

    • Report weekly on activity, conversion metrics, and pipeline health to the Head of Sales.

    • Iterate the outbound playbook - test new data sources, messaging angles, and tools to improve reply and meeting rates.

    • Work closely with AEs, Product, and Head of Business to refine pitch, share market insights, and improve lead-to-opportunity conversion.
